DIY - Afternoon Snack for Kids

Once the kids comes home from school it is usually snack time in our house. I want to share a quick and easy snack kids can make themselves while mommies and daddies take a load off after school or get dinner started. This snack is super simple, my toddler helped me take it!

What you'll need...

- Vanilla Wafers
- Heavy Whip Cream in the spray bottle
- Blueberries
- Strawberries
- Sprinkles and
- any other small fruits you may want to add

Step 1- Place the desired amount of Vanilla Wafers on a plate

Step 2- Add a medium squirt of whipped cream

Step 3- Add the fruit blueberries and strawberries on top on the whipped cream

Step 4- When done add a bit of sprinkles on top and last but not least

Step 5- Enjoy as a family!

If you chose to you can put them in the freezer for 15- 30 minutes so the whipped cream can be stiff.

P.S. Don't worry if the portion of whip cream gets out of hand... lol! The kids will learn as they continue to cook what the proper portions are. It’s all a part of learning!

I’d love to see how you and your family prepare this treat. be sure to send us a picture and a message on Facebook. I look forward to seeing your snack creations.

Happy cooking,

Mrs. Mae
